Why ”Pray” Clothing & Apparel?
Because prayer is our direct connection to God.
We don’t have to go through any other source.
We can be wherever, whenever and still talk to God directly.
We can come out of bad habits, bad decisions, bad thoughts, bad behaviors and bad choices.
We can ask for healing, knowledge, understanding, help, intervention, patience, favor, a do-over.
Collection Name Inspiration: The church King Solomon built for God
God did not appoint King David to build a church for him; instead he chose his son King Solomon. When the building was complete, King Solomon prayed for a blessing upon the building. God sanctified the church building and promised to have his eyes and his ears and his heart open to prayers spoken there perpetually.
Scripture “If my people,who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
How does it apply to me?
The same instructions and benefits apply to us. We don’t have to be in the church King Solomon built. The church is inside of us now. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
When we find ourselves getting off track, we can do just what God said:
- Come back to me
- Talk to me
- Look for me - I’m here for you
I will hear from heaven; and from heaven I will heal.
