Not everyone’s faith is the same. Not everyone serves the same God. But, as humans we share likes and dislikes, joys and sorrows, victories and losses. How those things mold us into who we are just might be your “common ground” starting point. We should not immediately dismiss people because their beliefs are not exactly the same as ours. Remember: people didn’t “know” Jesus, until they “knew” Jesus.
